Pizza de Weyz · Legal record

Last revised 7 November 2026

Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Pizza de Weyz ("we", "us") handles personal data collected through pizzadeweyz.rest. The operator of the site is Pizza de Weyz, 210 5th Ave, New York, NY 10010, USA, reachable at +1-212-555-0954. It applies to data collected through the site, the contact form, and phone orders placed to the kitchen number listed on the site.

In short

We keep the details needed to cook and deliver your order. We don't sell them, and we don't run ads against them.

Applies to

The pizzadeweyz.rest website, the contact form, and phone orders placed to the kitchen line above.

Your question

Send it any time — the kitchen answers within its posted hours.

Section 01 Collect

What we collect

Every field we keep on a ticket is one a cook, driver or support call needs to finish the job.

When you use the contact form or place an order, we collect the details you provide: your name, phone number, delivery address, order contents, and any note you leave for the driver. If you call the kitchen, we record the same order details on the ticket. We do not collect payment card details on this site; card payment happens at the door or at the counter, through the payment terminal in use.

  • Name and phone Used to confirm the order and reach you while the driver is on the route.
  • Delivery address Used only to route the order; a hallway, floor or buzzer note shortens the trip.
  • Order contents What you ordered, boxed on the ticket, so a remake or refund can be checked against the record.
  • Driver note A short line you leave for the driver — buzzer code, gate, "leave at door". Kept on the order ticket.

The order ticket is the kitchen's own record. It carries your details only as far as the service needs them, and it is the same record used to trace what happened if you report a problem.

Section 02 — Purpose

Why we collect it

We use your details to prepare and deliver your order, to contact you about the order if something changes on the route, and to answer any question or complaint you send us. Order details are also used to trace what happened if you report a problem, which is why the ticket time matters. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to third parties.

Cook

The pizza list, addresses and notes, in the order they were fired.

Deliver

Route, buzzer and window, so the driver reaches the right door on the first try.

Resolve

Ticket time, contents and notes answer a question weeks later, not just minutes after.

Section 03 — Cookies

Cookies and similar technologies

This site sets a small number of cookies that are needed for the site to work and, where applicable, cookies that help us understand how the site is used. The cookie policy page explains the categories in use and how to control them in your browser. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not pass cookie data to third-party ad networks.

Category What it does Control
Essential Keeps the site working: remembering an open session and holding a form entry while you finish typing it. Managed in your browser
Analytics Where applicable, helps us see which pages are useful and which are not, so the site can be simplified. Optional, listed on the cookie policy
Advertising Not used. This site does not run advertising cookies against your visit. Not set

If you would rather not carry any optional cookies, the cookie policy page shows where the choice lives in the browser you are using.

Section 04 — Sharing

Sharing with service providers

We share only what is needed with the providers who help us operate: the payment terminal provider that processes a card at the door, the phone or messaging service used to text you order updates, and any hosting provider for the site itself. Each provider receives the minimum data needed for its function. We do not share your data with delivery platforms you did not order through.

  • Payment terminal Handles the card tap at the door. We never see or store the card number.
  • Messaging Carries the "out for delivery" text. Only your number and first name are sent.
  • Site host Serves this website. Sees the request, not the order behind it.

Section 05 — Retention

Retention

Order records are kept for a reasonable period so we can handle refunds, remakes, and disputes, and so we can answer a question about an order weeks later. Contact form messages are kept as long as needed to resolve the message. When the useful period ends, records are deleted or anonymised.

If you want your data removed sooner, write to us and we will remove what we can, subject to any record we are required to keep.

Section 06 — Rights

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, request a copy, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it.

  1. 01 Ask Request a summary of the data we hold about you, keyed to the phone number you ordered from.
  2. 02 Copy Ask for a copy of your order history in plain text, delivered to the number or email you request.
  3. 03 Correct Fix a name, phone, or address held on your past tickets so future deliveries arrive cleanly.
  4. 04 Remove Ask us to delete what we hold, subject to records we are required to keep for tax or dispute reasons.
  5. 05 Object Opt out of an order-update text, though in that case we may not be able to send delivery notifications.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us by phone or through the contact form and describe what you want. We will confirm the request and respond within a reasonable period.

Section 07 — Security

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the data we hold, including limiting access to order records to staff who need them for service or support. No system is perfect, and we will tell you if a breach affects your data in a way that matters. If you suspect that your data has been misused, contact us and we will investigate.

  • Access to order records is limited to the staff who prepare, dispatch, or support the order.
  • Card numbers are handled by the payment terminal, not stored on this website.

Section 08 — Changes

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices change, for example if we add a new messaging provider. The current version is always on this page, and the date at the top reflects the latest revision. If a change is significant, we will make it visible on the site rather than slip it in quietly. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
